She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Earl Schnars and Virginia "Jean" Schnars (Maul); her daughter Peggy Sinclair; her granddaughter Lisa Larrimore; her great grandchild Braeden English; her siblings, David Schnars, Janet Weyandt, Nancy Rummell and Joyce Berkhimer; her husband Clair Chapman; her children, LaMonna Wheland (John), Robert Sinclair (Joann), Sally Chapman and Mandy Burke (John); and her granddaughter Julie Mayes (Mitchell).
Former seamstress for the Puritan Foundation in Portage and hot food preparation cook for Giant Eagle in Richland.
