He is survived by: his sons, Allen of Texas and Ron of Indiana; his sibling Waide Ross (Gertie) of Summerhill; and also Numerous. He is also survived by child, four great grand children and three great great grandchildren.

“Lester Ross was a very proud veteran of WWII. He fought for 31 straight days and nights total combat while being wounded. He earned 2 bronze stars for valor and a purple heart. All this while he was just 18 years old. I loved him dearly. He was one of my dad's brothers, of which there were five. He was always very humble and a God fearing man. We miss him very much.”
