It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John M. Oklamchak (Portage, Pennsylvania), who passed away on May 2, 2023, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, John Oklamchak-Vargo and Edna Oklamchak-Vargo (Stovich); his brother-in-law Donald Hazlett; his mother-in-law Peg Gailey; his nephew Master Sergeant Kyle Baker; his wife Becky Oklamchak (Gailey); his son Danny Oklamchak (Samantha); his grandchildren, Mya (Tommy Trexler), Athena, Aries and Avrianna; his father-in-law James Gailey; and his siblings, Thomas Gailey (Bernice), Shirley (Dave Strittmatter), Gerald Gailey (Gloria), Mary Ann Hazlett and Jeanne May (Mike).

In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Cambria Alliance EMS or the Keystone Volunteer Fire Co. The Serenko-Claar Funeral Home, PC, Portage is serving the Oklamchak family.
