With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Janice Smith of Portage, Pennsylvania, who passed away on December 20, 2020 at the age of 75. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Koshak and Helen Koshak; her son Ronald Jon Smith; her brother Richard Koshak; her aunts, Stephanie Stefanko, Dorothy Koshak and Mary Knepper; her uncle Walter Pikarski; and her parents-in-law, Angela, Leo Smith, Donald Smith, Tony Smith and Brenda Smith.
She is survived by: her husband Ronald; her son Christian (Patricia Canavan); her grandchildren, Kristyn and Trissa; her daughter Jennifer Pinos (Lance); her grandchildren, Preston, Nicholas and Jordyn; her brother John Koshak (Nancy); and her son-in-law Jeffrey Rabak. She is also survived by several other in-laws and many nieces and nephews.
Due to the current COVID-19 pandemic, arrangements will be held for immediate family members only at the Serenko-Claar Funeral Home, PC, Portage at 9:00am on Saturday, December 26 with a funeral mass to follow at Holy Family Parish, Portage.
