She was predeceased by: her parents, Rupert Bopp and Armella Bopp (Long); her husband Merle "Cooksie" Thompson; her former husband Francis P. Vena; her brothers, Cletus, Cliff and Adrian Bopp; and her sister-in-law Margie Bopp.
She is survived by: her children, Claudia Miller (Vince) of Grand Prairie, TX, Richard Thompson (Patty) of Portage, Donna Adams (Ed) of Justin, TX, Daniel Thompson (Cathy) of Irwin and Robert Thompson (Pantea) of Ave Maria, FL.; her stepchildren, Jeffrey Vena (Betsy) of Orlando, FL, Alan Vena (Jan) of Orlando, FL, Bonnie Cammerata (Jeff) of Medford Lakes, NJ and Donald Vena (Jenny) of Brookeville, MD.; her sister-in-law Margaret Ann Bopp of Clarence, NY; and her caregivers, Lisa Alva, Tammy Lentz, Donna Fisher, Abby, Marie and Dr. Kelly Warshel. She is also survived by nine grandchildren, eleven step grandchildren, five great gran children, three step great grandchildren.
