He was predeceased by: his parents, John H. Gosney, Sr. and Mary F. Gosney (Hoff); and his daughter Joni Lynn Gosney Foraker. He is survived by: his wife Geraldine A. "Gerry" Gosney (Hollick); his children, John Jeffrey Gosney (Robie) of Port Vue and Jacqueline Patrick (Drew) of Level Green; his grandchildren, Jonathan, Jenna, Julia Gosney, Clay, Gavin Patrick and Jackson Foraker; his great grandchild Jett Gosney; his son-in-law Brian Foraker; and his godsons, Joe Giansante, Patrick Vennebush and Christopher Muic.
