He was predeceased by: his parents, James M. Surgeon, Sr. and Elizabeth C. Surgeon (Duncan); and his wife Carla Sue Surgeon (Forgie). He is survived by: his children, Carl James Surgeon (Linda Hoak), Thomas Scott Surgeon and Beth Ann Surgeon (Martha Madeira); his granddaughter Jennifer Kress (Dan); his great grandchildren, Charlotte and Madeline Kress; and his sister Carol Miskimmin. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
