She was predeceased by: her parents, Alvin Simpson and Elizabeth Simpson (Betty) of McKeesport; her brother Alvin Simpson (Sonny); and her nephew Stephen Simpson. She is survived by: her daughters, Ellen Caranese (Lee), Laura Evans (Jim) and Karen Puc (David); her granddaughters, Michelle, Lauren Evans, Erica, Amanda Bailey and Kyra Puc; her great grandchild Sutton Kugler; her sister Ruth May (William); her caregiver Helen Miller; her pet Daisy Mae; her aunt Theresa Mcinnis; and her nieces, Ruth McGhan-Zimmerman and Cindy May.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to an animal rescue of your choice or the American Heart Association.
