He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Shemory and Della Bookwalters; his wife Ruthann Fogleman Shemory; his daughter Tammy Shemory-Stewart; and his sisters, Mary Orris and Ruth Sutter.
He is survived by: his son Dennis Shemory Jr. (Colleen) of Port Royal; his grandchildren, Thomas Stewart (Jenna) of Mifflintown, Alicia Sonder (Shawn) of Harrisburg, Jessica and Danelle Shemory of Camp Hill; his great grandchild Liliana Fletcher of Harrisburg, PA; his brother Charles Shemory (Bonnie) of Honey Grove; and his sisters-in-law, Pauline Fogleman of Lafayette, GA and Donna Fogleman of Mechanicsburg.
