He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Romig and Bessie Romig; and his brother Bill. He is survived by: his wife Daisy Snyder; his children, Beverly (Dave), Rodney (Debbie), Bonnie (Doug), Steven (Brent) and Judith (Rodney); and his sister La Wanda (Sis). He is also survived by six grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
