Pauline A. Daughenbaugh Obituary
Pauline A. Daughenbaugh, 97 of Port Matilda, passed away on Saturday, May 27, 2023, at Centre Care. Pauline was born in Altoona on December 18, 1925 a daughter of the late Paul D. and Vada Shaffer Bradley. On June 30, 1946, she married Paul A. Daughenbaugh who preceded her in death on November 15, 2014. Pauline is survived by her sons, Dean L. Daughenbaugh of Port Matilda, Dennis L. Daughenbaugh of McAlevys Fort and Neil S. (Gail) Daughenbaugh of Port Matilda. Also surviving are her 6 grandchildren, Eric Daughenbaugh, Scott Daughenbaugh, Brenda Gruhn, Amy Miller, Chad Daughenbaugh, and Kevin Daughenbaugh and her 11 great-grandchildren.
Before her retirement, Pauline was employed at Penn State University in housekeeping. She attended Hannah United Methodist Church and she enjoyed oil painting and gardening. She and her husband Paul enjoyed many winters in Florida. She especially enjoyed spending time with her family. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her sister, Betty Abel and her brother, Ronald Bradley.
Family and friends will be received on Thursday, June 1, 2023 from 5 P. M. - 7 P. M. at the Dean K. Wetzler Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Inc., 201 Spring St., Milesburg, with the funeral service to follow at 7 P. M. with Pastor Samuel Reese, officiating. Burial will be in Port Matilda Cemetery, Port Matilda, PA.
