She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles E. Shaffer and Bessie M. Shaffer of Snow Shoe; her husband James L. Snyder; her brother Charles Shaffer, Jr.; her son-in-law John D. Bathgate; and her great grandchild John R. "Robbie" Bathgate.
She is survived by: her children, Wendy Bathgate of Middlebury Center, James Snyder, Jr. of Port Matilda and Tammy Farling (Michael) of Harrisburg; her sister Becky Mauer; her sister-in-law Yong Ye Shaffer of Snow Shoe; her grandchildren, John J. Bathgate and Lisa Kennedy; and her great grandchild Christopher Bathgate.
