He is survived by: his close friend Cathy Corell; his children, Susie Parker (Mark), April Butler and Franklin Wetzel, Jr. (Jena); and his siblings, Lewis Wetzel, Jr., Dave Wetzel, Kevin Wetzel, Tina Peters and Rose Swatsworth. He is also survived by five grandchildren.
