With solemn reverence, we commemorate Esther Mary McCarthy of Port Matilda, Pennsylvania, whose life came to an end on April 8, 2025 at the age of 95, leaving behind cherished memories. She was predeceased by: her parents, Stella Mierzwa and Felix Mierzwa. She is survived by: her children, Paula Irwin (Scott Irwin) of Port Matilda, Edward McCarthy (Claire Davids) of Ocean, NJ and David McCarthy (Dawn McCarthy) of Tampa; her grandchildren, Christine, Michelle, Jessica Irwin, Mathew, Ian, David, Henry McCarthy and Luke Mascarenhas; and her sister-in-law Louise McCarthy of Lincoln, RI.. She is also survived by two great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, April 11th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Good Shepherd Catholic Church (867 Grays Woods Blvd, Port Matilda, PA 16801). A Mass was held on Friday, April 11th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location.
