It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Brandon Lee Koppenhaver Jr. of Port Matilda, Pennsylvania, born in York, Pennsylvania, who passed away on January 18, 2022, at the age of 16, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He is survived by: his parents, Brandon Lee and Nicholle Bennett Koppenhaver; his brothers, Wyatt and Zeke; his grandparents, Donald and Jean Delp of York; his great-grandparents, John and Patricia Eckenrode of York; his grandparents, Sandra Szampruch of Columbia and Larry Koppenhaver (Deb) of Lewisberry; and his great-grandparent Jackie Szampruch of Columbia. He is also survived by several uncles, aunts, and cousins.

“I didn't know Brandon but I did know his brother and I actually lost my dad and I'm in 8th grade . It's not easy and it never Will be easy . I recommend going to a grieving support group called tides . I just want to say I'm sorry about your brother and I'm praying for your family and I don't understand what your going through but ik what it feels like to lose someone that you are very close to and ik the feeling of feeling that you wish that you could have done something .”
