With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Robert J. Clarke Sr. of Port Griffith, Pennsylvania, born in Pittston, Pennsylvania, who passed away on February 14, 2022. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Willard Clarke and Genevieve Doyle Clarke; and his siblings, William Clark (Rose Begley Clarke), Genevieve Morgan (Charles) and Mary Agnes Fitzmaurice (Leonard).
He is survived by: his wife Barbara Sauers Clarke; his children, Robert Clarke Jr. (Bridget) and Barbara Anastasi (Dominic); his grandchildren, Alexandra Anastasi Dolinsky (Christopher) and Dominic Anastasi (Nic); and his extended family, William Burke and Mary Burke Goode. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Greater Pittston Food Pantry of St. John the Evangelist Parish 35 William St. Pittston Pa 18640 or to the Wounded Warrior Project (woundedwarriorproject.org) both of which were near and dear to his heart.
