She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Theodore S. Boyer and Jennie M. Kocher Boyer; her former husbands, Frederick L. Powers and Edward J. Lurwick; her brother Theodore Boyer Jr.; her children, Frederick L. Powers (Karen, Pottsville, Glenn), Bruce S. Powers (Terisa, Hazleton), Gary A. Powers (Miguel, Palm Springs), Rosemary Gappa (Stan, Junction City), Bonnie S. Johns and Saint Clair; her siblings, Nancy Brown of Raleigh, N. C., Leroy Boyer, Newtown Boyer and Steven Boyer (Jane, Tremont); and her sister-in-law Mary Jane Boyer of Mechanicsburg. She was also cherished by 11 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren.
