With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mike Hardes of Port Allegany, Pennsylvania, born in Coudersport, Pennsylvania, who passed away on October 12, 2020 at the age of 70. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Ward C. Hardes and Katherine M. Franke Hardes; and his brother Terry J. Hardes. He is survived by: his wife Linda Kelly; his children, Leslie Troupe (Tom) and Joe Hardes (Brittney Wood) of Port Allegany; and his grandchildren, Abby Troupe, Joshua Hardes and Molly Hardes. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews and cousins.

Due to COVID-19 restrictions, visitation and funeral services will be held privately with the family.

Memorials, if desired, may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.

“He was a man of love and heart. As his grandchild, Abby Troupe, he was always the type of person to talk about football and his favourite war movies. He always would tell grandma LInda and I to be quiet when we were laughing. All of these memories made his last few days we saw him to be the hardest thing. He was the only and best grandpa I had.”
