It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Merle E. Dibble (Port Allegany, Pennsylvania), who passed away on July 23, 2024, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parent Alice A. Dibble; his wife Mary Brodie; his daughter Marilyn; and his siblings, George Ruby, Oscar Baker, Robert R. Baker, Ruth Bunnell, Pearl Elias and Helen Manning.
He is survived by: his children, Mel Dibble (Denise) of Smethport, Michael Dibble (Jodi) of Port Allegany and Melody French (Ron) of Port Allegany; his grandchildren, Ronnie French (Tarrin), Jason French, Amelia Rose Dibble, Jessica Stehle (Jordan), Clint Dibble and Melissa Dibble; and his close friend Mary Lu Irons of Kasson, PA.. He is also survived by four great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
