He was predeceased by: his parents, Alvin S. Barber and Florence Jackson Barber; his stepdaughters, Dorothy Fortner and Debra Johnson; and his siblings, Frederick Barber, Anthony "Sonny" Barber and Deanna Miller.
He is survived by: his children, Richard D. Barber (Tina) of Roulette, Steven W. Barber (Carrie) of Port Allegany, Eric Barber (Jayna) of New Philadelphia, OH and Angela Lucas (Patrick) of Titusville, PA; and his siblings, Clark F. Barber (Loretta) of Roulette, Jane Ford of Roulette and Laura Roundville of Gladstone, MI. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
