She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur S. Whitney and Esther Schoonover Whitney; her husband Philip; her siblings, Deforest, Erwin Whitney, Norma Varney, Alice Work, Florence Beach and Vera McConnel; and her stepson Philip M. Kio, Jr..
She is survived by: her stepsons, Thomas W. Kio (Carlene) of Roulette, Corwin "Corky" Kio (Hope) of Port Allegany and Dennis R. Kio (Lou) of Lufkin, TX; her sister Beverly Anderson of Prarie DuChien, WI; her niece Patty Kaple; and her nephew Jeff McConnell. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren, 27 great-great-grandchildren.
Memorials can be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
