He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert P. Hobbs and Hazel L. Hall Hobbs; his wife Laura Marie Falk; and his siblings, Albert P. Hobbs, Jr., Norman E. Hobbs, Mary Frances Smith and Dorothy Niles.

He is survived by: his children, Candy Leff (Edward) of Pittsburgh, Scott Hobbs of Port Allegany, Chuck Hobbs of Millport, NY and Randy Hobbs (Lisa) of Astor, FL; and his grandchildren, Bobby, Courtney, Meghan, Tyler, Ashley, Harley, Amanda and Lindsey. He is also survived by seven great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.

Memorials may be made to the Port Allegany Ambulance.
