Doris Galentine Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Doris Galentine (Port Allegany, Pennsylvania), born in Northampton, East Midlands, who passed away on December 15, 2018, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. She is survived by: her parents, Charles Higgins and Maude Murby Higgins; her spouse Rex Benjamin Galentine; her children, Robert Galentine (Gloria) of Turtlepoint, Allen Galentine (Virginia) of Sevierville, Larry Galentine of Olean, N. Y., Gene Galentine (Barbara) of Stoystown, Lori Freer (Scott) of Eldred, Evelyn Winters (Carl) of Red Lion, Linda Shaffer (Butch Burdick) of Port Allegany, Brenda Shaw (Jack) of Red Lion, Jane Ruth (Sam) of Boquete and Central America; her sister Ethel Broome (Stanley) of Northampton, England; her sister-in-law Shirley Sherwood (James) of Turtlepoint; her daughter Carol Daniels; her grandson Dennis Galentine; and her great grandchildren, Katelyn Hilger and Isaiah Sanner. She is also survived by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Birch Grove Mennonite Church.
