He was predeceased by: his parents, Curtis Ahner and Esther Ahner (Beers); his son Bruce Ahner; and his siblings, Jean, Dale and Paul.
He is survived by: his wife Sharlee Ahner (Hittner) of Kunkletown; his children, Brian Ahner (Lynne) of Kunkletown, Sheila Sherer (Roger) of Kunkletown and Alan Ahner (Jessica) of Charleston, SC; his daughter-in-law Tina Ahner of South Sterling; his grandchildren, Ben Ahner (Jodi), Tiffany Johnson (Ross), Cassandra Ahner (Andrew), Justin Sherer (Raven), Julia Sherer, Matthew Ahner, Jason Ahner, Amelia Ahner and Lyla Ahner; his great grandchildren, Henry, Caleb, Dixie and Walker; and his half-brothers, Curtis Ahner, Kenneth Ahner, James Ahner and Richard Dotter.
