With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Richard D. Vath of Polk, Pennsylvania, born in Dayton, Ohio, who passed away on October 25, 2020 at the age of 62. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Richard D. Vath to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Francis L. Vath and Lois Barnes Vath; his wife Carol Jean Huff; and his sister Debbie Peake. He is survived by: his children, Nicole Vath Sterling of Oil City and Richard Vath II (Vath); his grandchildren, Wyatt James Hedglin, Onnahlei Hedglin-Vath, Brayleigh Vath Sterling and Chase Sterling; his brother Francis Leo Vath (Shelia Wiley); his pet Ellie; and his friends, Mike "Huffy" Huff (Cheryl), Kathie Criss (Dave), Denny and Winifred Hiles.
The funeral home will have social distancing protocols in place and strongly recommends those who are attending to wear masks.
In lieu of flowers the family asks memorial donations be made to the funeral home to help with funeral expenses.
