He is survived by: his wife Mina Clayton; his daughters, Regina Richmore, Lucinda Reardon (Tony) and Shelly Miller; and his stepsons, Lewis Clayton, Richard Clayton, Steven Clayton and Jeffery Clayton. He is also survived by several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
