It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Helen Payton of Polk, Pennsylvania, born in Pequannock, New Jersey, who passed away on July 20, 2023, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Abraham Lenten and Cornelia Van Lenten (Dunkirk); her husband Paul S. Payton; her grandson Kevin Lewis; and her brother Abraham Van Lenten.
She is survived by: her sons, Paul K. Payton (Karen) of Chester, NY and Alan W. Payton (Mara) of Castle Rock, CO.; her grandchildren, Daniel Payton of Castle Rock, CO and Amanda Miller (Matthew) of Littleton, CO; her great grandchild Ezra Miller of Littleton, CO.; and her sisters, Eva Martin (Steven) of Kunkletown, PA and Nicolina Jeker of Kunkletown, PA. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
