He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilbur Cumpston and Helen Cumpston (Hewitt). He is survived by: his wife Susan Cumpston (Petrucci); his children, Daniel Cumpston (Tina) of Mapletown and Kimberly Cumpston of Mapletown; his grandchildren, T. J., Anthony Wise, Jimmy, Alyssa Vernon, Marcus, Sara and Jenna Cumpston; his son Robert Cumpston Jr.; his granddaughter Emma Cumpston; and his siblings, Tom Cumpston, Helen Petak and Judy Sweeney. He is also survived by seven great-grandchildren; two brothers.
