It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Phyllis McLaughlin of Point Marion, Pennsylvania, who passed away on March 3, 2025, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. In the vast expanse of eternity, Phyllis shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Phyllis farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Marguerite Bitterland McLaughlin and Roy McLaughlin; and her siblings, Alice Jones, Virginia Hiles, Fred and Edward McLaughlin.
Visitation was held on Monday, March 10th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM and on Tuesday, March 11th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the Herod-Rishel Funeral Home (501 Morgantown St, Point Marion, PA 15474). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, March 11th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Point Marion United Methodist Church (500 Morgantown St, Point Marion, PA 15474).
The family requests in lieu of flowers a memorial donation be made to the Point Marion Methodist Church, 500 Morgantown St., Point Marion, PA 15474.
