It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Leona Brooks of Point Marion, Pennsylvania, born in Dunbar, Pennsylvania, who passed away on February 5, 2024, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Bid Cottrell and Marlene Cottrell (Cottrill). She is survived by: her sons, Harold J. Brooks, Timothy L. (Brenda Brooks) and Ritchie (Angel Brooks); her brother Doy Cottrell of Point Marion; her husband Harold S.; and her siblings, Dall Cottrell, James Cottrell, Mary Ann Cosgrove and Virsil Cottrell. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
