He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Delores DeGardeyn, (Moats) and John DeGardeyn, Jr.; his wife Tammy DeGardeyn (Roderick); his children, Miana DeGardeyn of Nevada, Adam DeGardeyn of Tennessee and Abram DeGardeyn of Point Marion; his grandchildren, Samson, Lindy and Emilia; his sister Anna Marie O'Shea (Sean) of South Carolina; and his nephews, Gregg and Thomas Leavitt.
