Herschel F. Mathews Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Herschel F. Mathews (Point Marion, Pennsylvania), who passed away on September 24, 2019, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry O. Mathews and Leona Mathews (Everly). He is survived by: his wife Marlene Mathews (Fox); his son Herschel F. Mathews, Jr.; his daughter-in-law Lucinda; his granddaughter Lacey J. Grim (John); his great grandchild LeAnna Grim of Dilliner; his siblings, Charley Mathews (Sue) of Taylortown, Harry E. Mathews of Eastlake, OH, Mary Jane Bolyard (Willard) of Dilliner and Rose Ann Pecjak of Dilliner; his nephew Buddy Pecjak; his close friend Jim Bowers; and his sisters, Dorothy Gray and Eva Teter. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and countless friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the First Baptist Church of Dunkard, c/o Rita Kuis, 600 Taylortown Road, Dilliner, PA 15327.
