He is survived by: his wife Joyce Moody (McLaurin); his children, Shaena Moody of Bowie, MD and Reginald Moody II of Harrisburg; his siblings, Rashaad Moody of Newark, NJ and Lisa Howell-Banks of Tampa, FL; his grandchildren, Sienna Moody of Reginald Moody, III, Alex Elijah Sanchez Jr. and Lyric Julianna Moody; and his goddaughter Jasmine McLaurin.
