We are sad to announce that on May 1, 2023, at the age of 81, Wayne A. Thorpe Sr. of Pocono Pines, Pennsylvania, born in Orange, New Jersey passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his father Eino Matthew; and his sisters-in-law, Yolanda Commarato and Debra Rawles. He is survived by: his wife Betty Thorpe (Rawles); his children, Elizabeth "Betsy" Bononno (Michael), Wayne Thorpe, Jr. (Cyndi) and Glenn Thorpe (Linda); his sister Nancy Wewer (Herbert); his grandchildren, Ryan, Eric, Sarah, Adrienne, Russell, Julia, Nicholas, Brett, Grace, Amanda, Haley and Jaime; and his brother-in-law Frederick Rawles. He is also survived by five great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to American Cancer Society, Memorial Processing Center, PO Box 7, East Syracuse, NY 13057 in memory of Wayne.
