He was predeceased by: his parents, Harvey Zarra and Marie Zarra (D'Andrea); and his brother Steve. He is survived by: his wife Shirley (Guerriero); his sons, Cory Zarra and Derrick Zarra (Johanna); his grandchildren, Jane and Wade; his brother Dave Zarra; his sister-in-law Cheryl Zarra; his nephew Nicholas Zarra; his niece Angela Zarra; his sister-in-law Gina Zarra; his nephew David Zarra; his great-niece Giovanna; his niece Stefanie O'Brien Zarra (Sean O'Brien); his great-nieces, Madison and Peyton; his great-nephew Ethan; his mother-in-law Roberta Guerriero; and his siblings-in-law, Neil Guerriero, Joanne Guerriero and Albert Guerriero (Sharon Reilly).

Viewing was held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Maximilian Kolbe Parish (5112 Pocono Crest Rd, Pocono Pines, PA 18350). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
