She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry Shafer and Hazel Shafer (Frame); her husband John; her son Michael; and her siblings, Harry, Teddy Shafer, Beverly Urgaris and Elma Baird.
She is survived by: her daughter Hazel Fairservice (Robert) of Tobyhanna; her granddaughter Andrea Fairservice (Nick McIlwain); her great grandchild Ben; and her grandson Brian Fairservice of Pittsburgh. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews and close friends.
