He was predeceased by: his spouse Marian Selig (Miller); his parents, Carl H. Jr. and Elsie Selig (Moncrief); and his brother Carl H. Selig III. He is survived by: his children, Robert Jr. (Mabel) of Pocono Lake, Nancy Turha (Thomas) of Bethlehem, Mary Ellen Bankus (Robert) of Pocono Lake, Linda Snyder (Jeffrey) of Stroudsburg, Janet Sutliff of Pocono Lake, Laura Deane (Sean) of Pocono Lake and Loretta Daubert (Brenda Fiorani) of Freeland; and his sister Emma Jones of Pittston. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
