He was predeceased by: his parents, Peter Olinits and Marie Olinits (Maloney); his daughter Amber Marie; his nephew Nicholas D. Polifko; his brother-in-law Gerald Williams; and his parents-in-law, Anna-Marie and Donald Williams.

He is survived by: his wife Joyce Olinits (Williams); his sons, Peter (Pam) and Michael (Marysia); his grandsons, Liam, Logan and Kellan; his siblings, Robert Olinits and Donna Bartoletti; and his godchildren, Kevin of Sarah, A. J. and Anna Marie. He is also survived by numerous in-laws, nieces, nephews, and friends.
