With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Alma Sue Whipple of Pocono Lake, Pennsylvania, born in Hampton, Tennessee, who passed away on June 8, 2024 at the age of 77. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Carvel McKinney and Violet McKinney. She is survived by : her husband James Whipple; her daughters, Andrea Mumford (Jason) of Skippack, PA and Heather Gliot (John) of Ft. Wayne, IN; and her siblings, Shirley Tate and Roy McKinney. She is also survived by three grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Thursday, June 13th 2024 from 3:30 PM to 5:00 PM at the Jr. Funeral Home (3440 W Skippack Pike, Norristown, PA 19474). A memorial service was held on Thursday, June 13th 2024 at 5:00 PM at the R. L. Williams Jr. Funeral Home, Inc. (3440 W Skippack Pike, Norristown, PA 19474).
