He is survived by : his spouse Theresa Akus (Davis); his parent Sophie Akus (Piniak); his children, Albert Akus (Linda) of Stroudsburg, Cheryl Silfee (Paul) of Georgia, Adele Hineline (Tim) of Stroudsburg, Laura Longyhore (William Thomas) and Jim Thorpe; his grandchildren, Kristie Silfee of Ocala, Brenda Hutton (Keith) of Floyds Knob, IN, Shaun Hineline (Joyce) of Long Pond, Charles Longyhore Jr. of Portland, Jason Seese of Budd Lake, NJ, Jessica and Amy; his great grandchildren, Jonathon and Tyler; and his sisters, Karen Akus of Easton and Virginia Wuest of Bronx, NY.
