He was predeceased by: his parents, Stanley J. Grontkowski Sr. and Lottie Lipowski Grontkowski; his children, Stanley Grontkowski III and Mary Grontkowski; and his brother-in-law Frank J. Gawat.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Lou Runstall; his daughters, Donna Grontkowski Casey (Ken Casey) of Plymouth Twp and Lesa Grant of Las Vegas, NV; his grandchildren, Sharleen Kishbaugh (Jeremy), Kellie Cavanaugh (Matt), Laura Pluchinsky (Aaron), Stanley J. Grontkowski IV (Michelle), Elaine Snyder (Jesse), Linsey Bockert and Bronsen Bockert; his great grandchildren, Gemma, Jax, Von Kishbaugh, Finn, Rhett Cavanaugh, Lilly, Adaline Pluchinsky, Kaliah and Jesse Snyder; his sister Rosemary A. Gawat; and his nieces, Francesca Gawat, Teresa Gawat and Christine Stefon.
In lieu of flowers, contributions, if desired, may be made to a children's charity of the donor's choice in Stanley's memory.
