She was predeceased by: her parents, Stanley J. Grontkowski and Lottie Lipowski Grontkowski; her husband Francis J. Gawat; her brother Stanley J. Grontkowski; and her nephew Stanley J. Grontkowski III.
She is survived by: her daughters, Teresa Gawat of Plymouth, Francesca Gawat (Thomas Belinsky) of Hanover Twp and Christine Stefon (Frederick) of Dallas; her grandchildren, Adam Gawat (Megan), Sarah Gawat, Matthew Stefon and Jessica Stefon; her great grandchildren, Aidan Carrell, Jacob James and Gabrielle Mae Gawat; her sister-in-law Mary Lou Grontkowski of Plymouth; and her nieces, Donna Grontkowski Casey (Ken Casey) of Plymouth Twp and Lesa Grant of Las Vegas, NV. She is also survived by several great-nieces, great-nephews, great-great-nieces and great-great-nephews.
In lieu of flowers, contributions, if desired, may be made to the SPCA of Luzerne County or All Saints Parish in care of the Parish food pantry in Rosemary's memory.
