He was predeceased by: his parents, Gersham Hoyt and Margaret Keiper Hoyt (Elsie); his wife Marcella F. Veronikowski; and his siblings, Glenn Hoyt, Connie Dymond, Shirley Zajkowski and Theda Cragle.
He is survived by: his sons, Randall Hoyt (Lisa) of Mountain Top, Bradley Hoyt (Rebecca) of Texas and Christopher Hoyt (Jill) of Florida; his grandchildren, Julian, Abby, Oscar, Jacob, Marco, Sabrina, Billy, Peter (P. J.) and Korey; his great grandchild Trevor; and his siblings, Gersham Hoyt Leonard Hoyt and Bonnie Goodrich. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
