With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mary Lou Grontkowski (Plymouth, Pennsylvania), born in Kingston, Pennsylvania, who passed away on December 21, 2023 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Alfred H. Runstall and Mabelle Davis Runstall; her husband Stanley J. Grontkowski; her children, Stanley J. Grontkowski III and Mary; and her sister-in-law Rosemary A. Gawat.
She is survived by: her daughters, Donna Grontkowski Casey (Ken) of Plymouth Twp and Lesa Grant of Las Vegas, NV; her grandchildren, Sharleen Kishbaugh (Jeremy), Kellie Cavanaugh (Matt), Laura Pluchinsky (Aaron), Stanley J. Grontkowski IV (Michelle), Elaine Snyder (Jesse), Linsey Bockert and Bronsen Bockert; her great grandchildren, Gemma, Jax, Von, Kaz Kishbaugh, Finn, Rhett, Beau, Briar Belle Cavanaugh, Lilly, Adaline, Amelia Pluchinsky, Kaliah and Jesse Snyder; and her nieces, Francesca Gawat, Teresa Gawat and Christine Stefon.
In lieu of flowers, contributions, if desired, may be made in Mary Lou's memory to the Luzerne County SPCA.
