He is survived by: his parents, Charles Burkel and Lyn Lamoreux of Hunlock Creek; his pet Dozer; his wife Carrie Kushinski; his son Matthew; his brother Charlie Burkel (Dawn) of South Boston, VA; his half-brother Steven Reeder (Jodi) of Dickson City; his stepsister Nicole Lamoreux (David) of Bristol, PA; and his brother-in-law Kevin Kushinski (Kelly) of Hunlock Creek. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
