James McDermott Sr. Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James McDermott Sr. of Plymouth, Pennsylvania, who passed away on January 3, 2025, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James P. McDermott and Mary Skubanicz McDermott; his grandson Zackary Smith; and his brother Michael McDermott. He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Soboleski; his children, Karen Schinski (Kevin), Plymouth Twp, James "Jim" McDermott Jr., Doreen McDermott (Jesse Smith), Lake Silkworth, Jason McDermott (April) and John McDermott (Stephanie); his grandchildren, Kevin J. (Rachael), Kayley, Kendell, Kassie Schinski, Aiden James Murphy, Spencer, Parker Smith, Emma, Isabelle, Onnah, Uliza McDermott, John Jr. and Jackson McDermott; his great grandchild Brynly Schinski; and his sister Mary Ann McDermott Pallis. He is also survived by cousin; and nieces and nephews.
