We are sad to announce that on September 26, 2022, at the age of 93, Gladys L Thompson of Plymouth, Pennsylvania, born in Wilkes Barre, Pennsylvania passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Remphrey and Henrietta Remphrey (Hughes); her husband Elwood J. Thompson; her sons, Elwood W. Thompson and George Thompson; and her siblings, Fred Remphrey, Marion Flynn and Marjorie Remphrey.
She is survived by: her children, Linda Mikolaicik (Robert) of Hopewell, VA, Helen Costello (Florian) of Plymouth, PA, Debbie Daniel of Molino, FL and Thomas Thompson (Elizabeth) of Nanticoke, PA; and her brother Walter Remphrey (Marie) of Kingston, PA. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren.
In Lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the ASPCA of Luzerne County.
