He was predeceased by: his parent Fred Croop; and his sister Freeda Wesley. He is survived by: his parent Sarah Croop; his wife Myfanwy Richards Croop; his daughters-in-law, Fred Croop, Charlotte Winans of Tunkhannock, Russell Croop and Corrine Croop; his grandchildren, Joshua Croop, Nathan Croop and Alix Croop; and his great grandchild Kolia Croop. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
