She is survived by: her significant other Renee Bess; her brother Louis Lotz (Mary Jean); her niece Meredith Wallace (Nathaniel); her nephew Andrew Lotz; her sister-in-law Stephanie Bess; her great-niece Lorelei; and her great-nephew Everett Wallace. She is also survived by co-workers and dear friends.

“Viv was my fellow counselor at William Penn High and she was my friend. A kinder, dearer, more empathetic person does not exist. She helped me so much when I first started at Penn and we spoke every day. The last day we at work when we both retired, we decided to leave the building together to support each other at a very emotional moment for us both.
