He is survived by: his wife Lucia; his son Franco D'Orazio (Paula Pellegrini); his grandchildren, Amanda Lucia D'Orazio and Nicholas Umberto D'Orazio (Nicole Gullone); and his siblings, Camilo D'Orazio (late Dora Torto), Rosetta Paludi (late Giustino), Maria Ramadori (Giuseppe), Arnaldo D'Orazio (Adalgisa Paludi), Luisa Della Rocca (late Umberto), Antonio D'Orazio (Linda Roman), Irma Ruzzi (Giuseppe), Joseph D'Orazio (Grace Zappacosta) and Paul D'Orazio (Maria Scotto). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Umberto's name can be made to the American Lung Association or the Missionary Sisters of Charity (Norristown, PA).
